Vertebral Self-fusion

Due to calcification of the vertebral ligaments, the adjacent vertebrae start touching each other and gradually fuse, causing stiffness, backache, change in the shape of the spine, and limited movements. It can also cause tingling or numb sensation in the legs, pain in the legs and buttock region, difficulty walking, etc. Surgery may be advised for severe conditions. Building the core muscles and weight reduction can ease the symptoms.
