Anesthesia Side Effect

Side effects of anesthesia include nausea, vomiting, sore throat, confusion, dry mouth, chills, difficulty urination, muscle pain, allergic reactions, and dizziness. Most of them are short-term and resolve gradually on their own. However, infrequently in some cases of general anesthesia, people become aware of the surrounding. They do not feel the pain, nor can they see, but they can hear and feel the surrounding. As a result, they feel helpless and distressed. This is known as anesthesia awareness. Such patients can recall those events and can affect their mental health.
