Migraine Headaches

Migraine is a recurring one-sided headache. Some people experience an aura before a migraine. The headache may be associated with nausea, vomiting, and nose block. Irritability due to migraines can last for up to two days. During migraines, people become sensitive to light and sound. Sometimes these can also be a trigger. Other triggers include caffeine, menstrual period, birth control pills, alcohol, chocolate, stress, etc. Triptans, antiemetics, and pain relievers are implicated in its treatment.
