Pinguecula

Pinguecula is a small, noncancerous growth that develops on the conjunctiva. If there are multiple growths, then it is called pingueculae. It can develop at any age but is most commonly seen in middle-aged and older people. It leads to eye dryness and irritation. Treatment is only required if it causes discomfort.

I have yellow bumps in both the conjunctiva. Why?

Query: Hello doctor, There is a yellowish bump on the conjunctiva, near my cornea in the left eye. After waking, both eyes are red, especially around the bump.
