Propofol

Propofol is a sedative medication used in patients who are in critical care and under breathing machines. Propofol works by increasing the GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) activation. Lightheadedness, weakness, shallow breathing, severe pain at the injection site, itching, rashes, etc., are the side effects of propofol. Due to the drowsiness, it is better to take bed rest for 24 hours after injection.
