Signs and symptoms of a sinus fracture vary according to the affected sinus. According to the sinus involved in fracture, the adjacent anatomical structures such as cheek, orbit, the forehead can also be injured. Nasal sinuses tend to sustain a fracture because of the thin bone lining. Ethmoid and maxillary sinus fracture does not need repair, whereas frontal sinus fracture requires intervention.
