Striae Distensae

Striae distensae is also called stretch marks. They appear as linear striations with scars on the skin. They occur in the skin where there is progressive stretching. It is common in obese people and in women after pregnancy. It causes esthetic problems when it appears on the face. Usage of hyaluronic acid and tretinoin helps to treat the condition.
