Whooping cough, barky cough, nighttime cough, daytime cough, persistent cough, and cough associated with fever, vomiting, wheezing are the types of cough. Cough caused by viruses takes about two weeks to be cured. It is not recommended to use cough medicines in children below the age of six years without the advice of a practitioner.
