Dilation And Evacuation

Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) is one of the procedures done for abortion. It is also done in cases of miscarriage. D&E is usually done in the second trimester (12 weeks) of pregnancy. D&E method usually includes vacuum aspiration, dilation, and curettage (D&C), and usage of surgical instruments along with it.
