Hello doctor,

I am a 34-year-old male. I have a blood pressure of 140/95 mmHg, which is usually high. It has been on the higher side for two to three years. What should I do to bring it down?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. To bring down your blood pressure, do regular exercise like walking, especially after dinner. Additionally, avoid oily, spicy, junk food, and extra salt.

Thank you.

Thank you doctor for the reply,

I exercise quite often and I also have a family history of high blood pressure. I need to know whether it is required to take medicine for high blood pressure at this level.
