Klinefelter Syndrome

Klinefelter syndrome affects the male sex. It is a sex chromosome disorder where the male child has an extra X chromosome. Errors in cell division during fetal development causes this. Affected children present with disabilities in learning, speech, and language development. They are taller than normal children. Other physical features include small testis, undescended testis, gynecomastia, decreased muscle mass, sparse facial and body hairs, reduced bone density, and curved little fingers. There is incomplete puberty due to deficient testosterone. This also causes infertility.
