Lymph Node Pain

Lymph node pain may present along with lymph node swelling. Lymph nodes become palpable and tender while fighting against any infection. Based on the site of infection, the nearby lymph nodes pain and swell. Other known causes of tender and swollen lymph nodes are cancer, autoimmune disorders, sexually transmitted diseases. The pain from lymph nodes will regress once the infection resolves. Otherwise, for excessive pain, a warm compress and painkillers may be taken.
