Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is an imaging technique for diagnosing retina problems. It uses the reflected light waves to generate high-resolution cross-sectional images of retinal tissues. There are two types of optical coherence tomography such as the older time-domain and new spectral or Fourier domain optical coherence tomography.
