Professional Bio
Dr. Rajesh Kumar is a Medical Gastroenterologist with 13 years of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Pakistan. After his MBBS, he got training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. He did his FCPS in Gastroenterology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan. Currently, he is working as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Aga Khan University Hospital, in Karachi, Pakistan. He has been a research presenter at national and international conferences and has got research awards on research projects.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar received awards for being the Best Gastroenterology resident and Chief Resident of Gastroentroenterology in 2018. His research works are Survival outcomes of patients with Acute variceal bleeding with acute coronary syndrome discharged on the antiplatelet agent. He got a travel grant for an oral presentation at APASL 2019, Manila, Philippines. In addition, he received the Best presentation award with a travel grant for AASLD, Boston, USA. His treatment outcomes of patients with solitary rectal ulcer syndrome Abstract selected for poster presentation at digestive disease week (DDW-2017), Washington, USA, and Pulsion Esophageal Diverticulum an uncommon yet important GI problem Abstract: WCOG at ACG 2017 in Orlando, Florida, USA. He is a Member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), a Member of the American Association of Liver Disease (AASLD), and a Member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE).
