Allergic rhinitis or hay fever is an allergic response to allergens causing sneezing, runny nose, coughing, sore throat, itchy and watery eyes, headaches, hives, and eczema. The most common allergen causing this is pollen. Antihistamines and decongestants are used to treat allergic rhinitis.
