Influenza

Influenza virus causes influenza. Four types of influenza virus are A, B, C, and D. Of these, types B and C infect humans. Symptoms of the flu include fever, runny nose, sore throat, headache, fatigue, body pain, and cough. It is contagious and can be transmitted from one person to another through respiratory droplets during coughing and sneezing. Symptoms last for a week. Symptomatic treatment can help.
