Invitro Fertilization

In vitro fertilization is a method of fertilization wherein a woman's egg and a man's sperm are retrieved and manually mixed in a petri dish for fertilization and form an embryo implanted into the uterus. The eggs and sperm can be of their own or can be of the donor. If the woman's uterus has difficulties receiving the embryo, surrogacy can be considered. The emotional aspect of the partners plays a significant role more than physical or financial. Often two embryos are implanted considering the risks. Fertility issues in either of the partners, increased age, problems in the reproductive system like fibroids, endometriosis, etc., are reasons to do in vitro fertilization.
