Keratosis pilaris is otherwise known as follicular keratosis. It is a skin condition showing rough patches with acne-like bumps on the skin. This condition occurs when the skin produces more keratin. It often occurs on the arms, thighs, cheeks, and buttocks. Applying medicated creams helps to improve its appearance.
