Neurogenic Bladder

For someone with a neurogenic bladder, the nerves that control the working of the urinary bladder do not function normally. There are some muscles that help tighten or release the bladder as per the signals received from the brain. Under certain conditions like diabetes, long-standing infections, brain or spinal cord injuries, and structural abnormalities, the bladder control mechanism gets impaired, which may lead to incontinence and more.
