Skipped Heartbeat

Skipped heartbeat occurs when there is an irregular beating of the heart like too fast. This leads to chest discomfort or chest pain. Strenuous exercise, drinking, smoking, lack of sleep, etc., are some of the causes of the skipped heartbeat. Relaxation, avoiding intake of caffeine, alcohol, smoking, etc., prevents palpitation.
