Acute Laryngitis

Acute laryngitis is the inflammation of the larynx and the vocal fold mucosa that generally does not last for more than three weeks. Vocal misuse, upper respiratory tract infection, and exposure to harmful agents cause acute laryngitis. Using humidifiers and complete voice rest are the ways to manage acute laryngitis.
