Oral Contraceptive Pill

Oral contraceptive pills (OCP) are tablets taken orally to prevent pregnancy. The two types of pills are combination pills and Progestin-only pills. These pills prevent pregnancy by either stopping your body from ovulating or by thickening the cervical mucus or thinning the outer lining of the uterus.
