Dr. Karthic Natarajan Babu is a certified pain management doctor from Chennai, India, with 14 years of clinical experience. He is one of the dedicated, full-time spine and pain physicians from Tamil Nadu. He is the director and pain consultant at Synapse Pain and Spine Clinic in Adayar, Chennai. He is also an interventional pain management consultant in Apollo Hospitals, VS Hospital, Apollo Spectra Hospitals, MRC Nagar, Chennai. He finished his MD in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine from Kasturba Medical College. He did his DNB and Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management from Aesculap Academy, Germany. He is an experienced physician treating back pain, disk herniation or sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, knee arthritis, joint pains, headaches or migraines, nerve-related pain, cancer pain, and palliation. He provides treatment through medications, pain interventions like injections, RFA, PRP injections, botox injections, neurolytic blocks, etc., besides physical therapy and good rehabilitation. Dr. Karthic Natarajan Babu won the Pain Physician of the Year Award in 2017. He was a gold medalist during his MBBS degree. He was the first pain physician to clear the exam and qualify as a Fellow in Interventional Pain Practice at the World Institute of Pain from South India in 2009.
