Unilateral Headache

Dull throbbing or intense pain on only one side of the head is called a unilateral headache. The common causes include stress, fatigue, infections, allergies, medication overdose, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, aneurysm, tumors, etc. Tension headaches, migraines, and cluster headaches can all result in pain on one side of the head.
