Menstrual Bleeding

Changes in hormone levels during the menstrual cycle results in shedding of the uterine lining and bleeding, which is called menstrual bleeding. Generally, for all women in their reproductive age, menstrual bleeding lasts for 5 to 7 days in every 4 to 5 weeks.
